Journalists for Human Rights at Ryerson aims to educate students about human rights issues locally, nationally and internationally. The group seeks to amplify the voice of Canadians dedicated to social change. By increasing human rights reporting, members empower others to protect their rights and the rights of others.

We hold a number of events and fundraisers throughout the year focusing on human rights issues from around the world, including film nights, speaker series, panel discussions, and pub nights. All money fundraised goes to the Journalists for Human Rights Head Office to fund JHR projects overseas and to support the student chapter program.
